Position Summary:

This position is available for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) skilled in independently managing anesthetic care for patients undergoing surgical procedures for community hospital practice and looking to have significant time off each year. The role requires a strong emphasis on autonomy in patient management, coupled with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both patients and surgeons in the community hospital setting.  Unique to this site is the full provision of anesthesia services in a small community setting, with appropriate levels of support for new CRNAs.     

Compensation Summary

Annual Compensation and Work Schedule: 

  • Expected Earnings:

    • Experienced CRNAs: $325,000 to $350,000 per year, with 14 weeks of time off.

    • New CRNAs: $310,000 to $330,000 annually, with 14 weeks of time off.

  • Earnings Breakdown

    • Base Rate: $155/hour for all time spent in the hospital, including overnight calls.

    • Annual Work Period: Services are provided for 38 weeks each year.

Work Commitments: 

  • This team is organized into an 11 member team who provides full coverage for the facility.  First and second call is distributed equally between all members of the group (1:7 first call, details in schedule).  Members are able to pick up additionally, at other sites. 

Equity and Profit Sharing: 

  • Full-time members will receive increasing equity in the group. 

  • Annually, profit sharing is distributed, reinforcing our commitment to collective success and individual contribution. 

Compensation Format: 

  • All compensation is processed on a 1099 basis.

 Technology:  

  • Medical Records: Cerner 

  • Anesthesia Records: Paper, with some exceptions.   

  • Phone-based Apps for time tracking, anesthesia record upload, and scheduling  

About the Facility:

Banner Casa Grande Medical Center is a full-service, non-profit hospital established 30 years ago. It is located in Casa Grande, Arizona and serves the Casa Grande Valley and surrounding areas. The medical center offers a wide range of services, including emergency care, imaging services, intensive care, and more.  We cover six points of service every day, which covers obstetrics, endoscopy, and four general operating rooms, where we provide coverage for general, orthopedic, vascular, and gynecological surgery.   

Qualifications

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with valid Arizona licensure.  Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and maintain composure under pressure. New graduates are welcome to apply, as mentorship opportunities are available within the group. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for successful collaboration with the surgical team and patients.
