Position Summary: 

Please note: This position is part of a team that provides anesthesia services across multiple facilities, including Arizona Heart Hospital, Banner University Hospital, Core Institute Specialty Hospital, and our outpatient division.  

This position is available for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) skilled in independently managing anesthetic care for patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures. The role requires a strong emphasis on autonomy in patient management, coupled with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both patients and surgeons in outpatient settings. 

About the Facilities: 

Our outpatient anesthesia group operates across the Phoenix valley, specializing in providing top-tier anesthesia services for a diverse range of procedures including cosmetic, gastrointestinal, vascular, dental, and pain management at CORE Spine Centers. Our facilities are generally more intimate, ensuring personalized care, where you will often be the sole anesthesia provider on-site. A significant portion of our cases are conducted under deep sedation, emphasizing our commitment to patient comfort and safety.   

Compensation Summary:

Annual Compensation and Work schedule:

  • Expected Earnings: Full-time members can anticipate an annual compensation of approximately $290,000.

  • Work Commitments:

    • Agreement Options: We offer flexible commitments, including three, four, or five day work weeks.

    • Hour Guarantees: Contracts include a guarantee of 32 or 40 hours per week, organized into scheduling of eight, 10 or 12 hours, with compensation pro-rated.

    • Monthly Saturdays: Each member is required to work at least one Saturday per month.

  • Annual Work Period: Services are provided for 47 weeks each year. Additional time off can be arranged if desired.

equity and profit sharing:

  • Full-time members will receive increasing equity in the group.

  • Annually, profit sharing is distributed, reinforcing our commitment to collective success and individual contribution.

compensation format:

  • All compensation is processed on a 1099 basis.

Qualifications:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with valid Arizona licensure and experience in cosmetic, pain, GI, vascular, and cardiology procedures.  Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and maintain composure under pressure. New graduates are welcome to apply, as mentorship opportunities are available within the group. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for successful collaboration with the surgical team and patients.

  • Medical Records: Paper, with some exceptions.

  • Anesthesia Records: Paper, with some exceptions.

  • Phone-based apps for time tracking, anesthesia record upload, and scheduling.
