Position Overview:
Arizona Anesthesia Solutions, a leading provider of anesthesia services, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Anesthesiologist to join our team at St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with no nights, no call, no weekends. You will be responsible for your own cases, providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures at St. Mary's Hospital.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Participate in pre-operative evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Monitor patients during surgery and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
Manage post-operative pain and provide appropriate pain management techniques.
Demonstrate proficiency in ultrasound regional nerve blocks (experience preferred, but training can be provided).
Qualifications:
Board Certification in Anesthesiology.
Experience working as a Physician Anesthesiologist is preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
Dedication to patient care and safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive compensation package of $500,000 per year.
40 hours per week.
Monday through Friday, no call, no weekends, and holidays off.
1099 contractor status.
